The Hauntings of Historic Harriman tours on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th, depart rain or shine from the Harriman Carnegie Library (601 Walden Ave) every 15 minutes from 7:30 to 10:00. This is a walking tour approximately 1 hour through part of the Cornstalk Heights Residential Historic District. Eight stories of “unusual events” are told which contain an element of truth, but are embellished by the story tellers. After the walking tour, attendees are also invited to an indoor presentation by the Appalachian Paranormal Group of documented paranormal activity in Harriman.

The Hauntings is theatrical entertainment of a historical nature, and is not a “Haunted House” event. No physical contact or scare tactics with the attendees is intended.

Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite at a discount rate of $10 per person. Tickets purchased on the day of the tours are $12 per person.

CHHCO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and conducts the Hauntings of Historic Harriman and Christmas Tour of Homes as fund raisers  to promote the restoration, preservation, protection and use of Harriman’s historical community.  None of the story tellers, tour guides or other individuals within the organization are compensated for their efforts.
